Where do I come from?

I’m a citizen of the world.

My mother tongue is Romanian and French, and I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. My multilingual skills are a gift! I was nine when I discovered that I understood English. I learn it thanks to “The Bold & The Beautiful,” which my Gran-Ma used to watch. At the same age, I realized that I spoke Spanish, as well. I suppose I learned Spanish thanks to my Gran-Ma watching “Telenovelas.” I found that I was speaking Italian at 16. I quickly learn Latin languages, undoubtedly due to Romanian, which comprises 80% of Latin roots.

I learned that 43% of the worldwide population are bilingual, and bilinguals have a much more complex observation method, leading them to find unusual solutions. We teach our brain mechanism to adapt its communication methods, and we continually train our brain to switch from a language to another and cultural codes. It appears that bilinguals executed better with developing occipital brain signal complexity.

I still believe that it’s fantastic that I learned languages without noticing I was learning them. Some other studies say that people talking many languages adjust quicker to various environments, analyze fast and are more creative. Others say there is no proof.

How Did Everything start?

I worked in Customer relationship for 16 years and Tourism for nine years until the COVID-19 happen. We all had to organize our life differently. I, from my side, speed up my project of starting a freelance career. I needed to stay aligned with my work vision — meaning working in my passion — and contributing to others’ great projects.

I’ve understood during the first lockdown I’ve understood that:

  • Failure doesn’t exist. There are just trials that bring us exactly where we have to be.
  • Time is personal, and each of us has to find its tempo justo.
  • Sharing our skills is participating in each other goals.
  • We can live with the essentials.
  • Authenticity is the most fulfilling reality.
  • I’ve learned to master my time.
  • I have strong analytical skills that I love sharing and using for others’ purposes.
  • And writing is intrinsic.

That awareness led me to launch my career as Freelance Digital Content Creator.

Why Did I Transition As A Freelance Digital Content Creator And Creative Writer?

It all started on March 23th, when a member of the JCI has contacted me to start the chapter for JCI Toronto. We decided to build a Mentorship program to connect students with mentors. I found myself looking for mentors through LinkedIn and had a crush on the digital universe; most of all, LinkedIn remains my preferred one. That was when I had the idea to originate mentors’ interviews and create a Social Media Packaging to highlight them. I started being the Social Media Manager of JCI Toronto.

I decided to follow that digital marketing path in content creation because I could reach out and help so many people as I always wanted. I graduated with a Digital Marketing certification that same year.

When I look back, it was evident that I will arrive at that point where I would become a freelance writer that does content creation and content writing for others.

Writing always made part of me.

I invented an Alphabet at ten years old because I didn’t like teachers and classmates to look at what I was writing; it was certainly not writing about what the teacher was telling us. I quickly understood my classes and got bored. I had to find something to write about! I discovered one of my passions that also saved my high creativity and emotional intelligence. Even today, my curiosity goes beyond my expectations. When I hear an idea, I immediately transform it into creative writing or content without effort! Besides, I’ve always travelled into this world through my emotions and intuition. I decided to put that natural skill into serving others’ missions.

I learned at an early age that I could do creative writing about anything I knew or imagined. Writing allowed me to explain all I couldn’t explain to my environment. Few people in my environment read me as a child, and till very late, only a few people could follow my divergent thinking.

But at work, I was a perfect tool for many companies that were using my skills, and I felt I was at the right place.

I have powerful work experience in the process that goes from conceptualization to commercialization until customer satisfaction feedback.

Those experiences allow me to do digital content creation for various entrepreneurs, SMEs and Non-profit, always having the audience in mind.
But that not what makes my service different from others. It’s my approach to digital marketing. I like to personify, humanize and customize my customers’ services according to their vision, missions and goals. I bring a human touch which we are losing in the digital world.
